Yes, Good

I am getting the feeling that I'm inside a first class pub. With this, I also get the feel of being underwater, you may think this is a strange feeling, but those waterphones is what does it.
I can see myself playing King's Quest with this music playing, or an old VGA Adventure Game.

Your choice to combine the viola with the cello gives it that true classic feel, and also with the brass and waterphones (at least that's what they sound like), gives the easy flow of a slow promotion to adventure.

Your music is quiet, and soothing to listen to. For this, I give you a ten and a five vote.. as seeing you were probably zero voted by idiots.

Nice Progression,
Bosa

Esn responds:

Thanks Bosa.

Although it was actually a euphonium/violin combination, to tell the truth (not cello).

Well, well, well.. it seems the brilliance of the mind is soon to be revealed with Maestro Rage's hit, "Arise Sleeper." The finely tuned pace at the beggining keeps the listeners guessing, and anxious for future development. Oh, and future development is what they get, oh yes indeed.

Around this time you get the feeling of trapped within a mother's womb, and finnaly being released upon the world, which awaits your ruling, as you shall be the new king. Yes, a fine king you shall be.

As your releasers gasp at awe for your sight, their new king, you hear the murmurs of the local priest which gives you the will of the worlds. Now, my friend, you will start here - gaining the knowledge of the divines, gaining the strength of the strongest troll, gaining the wisdom of the wisest priest, and gathering the courage.. the courage for Celestrian war. You start here.

This would be my introduction to this piece. Yet, your friend's poem seems to bring a mood as well, I've only wished to state my oppinion. I believe no more needs to be read.

Good Morrow,
Bosa

MaestroRage responds:

Indeed, your story is quite a appropriate one! I had never thought of it as such, but the image strikes me true and deep. I had never considered this image, but the more I think on it, the more I am attached to it.

Interesting indeed.

In any case, I appreciate the review Bosa, I apologize for the late response. I am so tired, and overworked, but life goes on with or without you eh ;)?

Thank you for the review again, i'm glad you liked it!

Hm..

I would recommend you to my partners in music, so they can also take a listen to this piece. I believe this to be a great work and a good forward move for your music. This time, you've taken a strong turn and that's what I like to see in musicians. Yet, I'm quite familiar with these samples.. Roland is definatly not my favorite company for making music. You see, Roland has had a bad past with the samples either being too slow for the right occasion, or the repetition of the sample's tone and tunes a bit too.. well.. repetitive. But, despite all this, you may have proven something out of Roland's keyboards and management properties. You seem to let out the lead with power. Now, I will describe my emotions felt towards this song you have produced (with greatness I might add.) As the music begins, I can already begin to feel a sad loss in somebody. Appearantly, the father of the lost son. I can tell you that the scene that is hown in my head is full of light and great storms of rain pouring upon his face. His tears falling from his eyes like the wells of heaven. You would see a gray sky and the trees blow lightly, but violent in manner. The cameras begin to focus on the father and his complete saddness and love for his son. Such a bond has been broken, and now.. we will cry.. cry silently inside.. waiting for a hope or sign. We will sit in our chairs watching such a scene and we will never forget what is truly precious to us. We will never forget to always cherish and use what we have now to help all we can. We will never forget this father that lost his son.. no.. his whole life to something so silly and sinister. A loss like this is what will rip a man apart and throw his hopes away. This is what will kill you inside and llaugh at you while you look down in failure. I believe this is what I feel about this song, and you have helped many fell emotions in which they have never felt before. I believe you have something ahead of you.. and I am ready to look out and make sure you get where you are looking to go. You, my friend, are a musician.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Umm....I don't know if you read my past responses to reviews on this before you wrote, but I established that I used the Edirol Orchestral VSTi and not a sampleset.

Thanks for the review, though.

You are talented..

It seems Newground's quality does not match your song's quite perfectly, yet this song does give me quite a few images. First, I see as if a young, lost soul is walking through a snowy park.. looking through cold and seeing what is beyond happiness and sorrow. He begins to look up at the sky.. hoping for a new life, then.. church bells. He looks down to the ground, and sees exactly what crime he's commited. That crime is murder, and only now is he beggining to run. Running from the truth, running from the pain, running from fear. His pace is kept high, and he dissapears in the distant fog and snow. As we sit and watch, we wonder.. is man truly running and getting away, or is man running into his own demise and traps. Does this mean every time we hide from something, it makes it urge to get out, and hurt even more? I cannot say, for your beliefs are your own, yet I love this piece and I say that it is great indeed.

Well Done

Aresdev responds:

Wow, that is really deep! Didn't think of it like that while I was working on it, but you bring up some interesting points. I'd love to hear what you have to say about the rest of my work!

Oh..

I just so happened to come across this one. The score was something I do admire indeed. French Horns and bells is quite an intersting mix of instruments. As much detail you have added in these layers of instruments, I'm sure you put some time into this. I'm also sure you had a blast while doing it. Hm.. that Irina Brochin sure is handy isn't she?

If you're looking for a story like you always add in most of your reviews, I have one for this piece.

"The skies are of the darkest gray.. the thunderstorms are heavy in sound.. and the rain.. pours with the death and anxiety surely to soon come. Soon our hero is looking upwards to these skies whilst waiting upon his lonely fort walls. At long last the ultimate tale will soon unfold. As the hero tightly grips his long, steel spear in hand, the dragon pours from the gloomed skies with vicous roars sounding as loud as the thunder above. Its eyes glow red from the hatred and death of many men. As it closes in, our hero stances ready and waiting for the inevitable. Of course he will not survive this, but he is at a hope to see his fellow comrades in the next world. The dragon swiftly scoops down breathing fire from its nostrils at the shaken hero. Our hero was able to launch his spear at this godly dragon, yet in turn, losing his life. While the dragon screams in hopes to ease the pain from its pierced heart, it falls ever so deeply down to the dark bottom unable to be seen. So both the hero and the dragn fell, yet the contact was a great show in maddness and also hatred for another. Oh the bagpipe'n play, so the hero is now in peace."

After my solitude was over in writing this short story, I was able to see more in this song than what was played. Perhaps their is more to music than samples and fast paced techno.

MaestroRage responds:

what an interesting story! Truly it showed me a great and vivid scene, and truth be told I had never imagined the hero being killed, a noble and honourable sacrafice on his behalf for sure!

There is always more to music then samples and techno, even techno pieces have the power to tell a story, just not with as much clarity, and more abstract. I have yet to create a golden melody which I feel is out there. A song, a story that can move somebodies mind to such large degrees... I wonder if such a song could ever be made, what with music being so subjective, but it is a goal I have set for myself, and one I will tirelessly persue.

Thank you for the review and story Bosa, truly it was an interesting one. I'm glad you liked the piece.!

To leave a good word..

I just happened to come across this tune while wandering around the classical section. I must congratulate you on your first attempt at a classical. Quite well, but a techno style close to the end doesn't match at all in the classical genre. That added some diversity, yes, but lost point in originality. Yet, with that aside, I can easily see your first attempt in here, and it was a good attempt indeed. There is much to learn if you are planning to stick some more classical tracks in your arsenal. But, you do what your soul thrives towards. If anything, I've learned that to continue after failure is to continue on the road for success.

Anima-Theory responds:

you are a good man :D

Thanks :D

Anima

Not bad, but not great

Did you use synth to make this? Anyways, I can't help but laugh at your remark as "Our Planet Pluto" the last I remember, Pluto doesn't belong to anybody. Religious humans think this whole universe was made for them I guess.

DrZonka responds:

lol, yeah, couldn't really think of a title

Hm..

With the electronic effects in the drum beat, this shouldn't be in Classical rather it be in Ambient. Beside that, I would like to point out how excellent and fresh this track is. Yes, it is excellent and fresh.

Sebby64 responds:

I agree that it was poor judgement of me to put this in classical. But glad you liked it anyway.

I'm quite tired, so I'll make it quick

You seem to have quite some knowledge on the base of music. You have my eye..

MaestroSegments responds:

Thank you Bosa, to be honest I havn't studied any form of music theory, but I like to think I know enough to get by ;).
